Ac clutch not engaging

Ac clutch only engages when recirculation button is pushed and not when the ac (snowflake) button is pushed. I can jumper it in the relay fuse box and it engages but that's it. Never has since I got it used and I had the shop flush and recharge the whole system and they said it was empty but now leaks. Idk know how that happens. But they ran something through the system that supposed to check for leaks. The rear doesn't get hot or cold also..
