About my power steering, pop in steering wheel when turning right?

I have a slight pop when turning to the right now… I was told a few months ago my power steering pump is getting weak. Is it getting worse? My steering still feels pretty effortless. But definitely has a slight groan when turning. More noticeable at idle.

I’m not sure that there is much I can do

Is there any where i can look for worn or broken parts? I see the steering shaft here under the hood everything looks ok upon first glance

My power s fluid kind of smells burned too

I did some tests and troubleshooting if anyone can help?

I think I narrowed it down to the intermediate shaft?

Has a few hairs of play in it.

Also check the double ujoint where thr intermediate shaft meets the rack and pinion. If the boot is ripped open, they can get corroded. You can get new boots for it. I did it on my 2008 and lubed the heck out of it and exercised it when out of the truck. Maybe something to look at

Yup I did mine a year ago. Joints were fine just needed to replace the ripped boots.
