AAPL Car Key & Revised CarPlay Later ……

Both Car Key & a revised CarPlay are coming in Sept w/ IOS26, odds on either being available w/ ‘25 Tahoes, Burb’s & Yukons?

The latest CarPlay should be available (even on earlier models than 2025). Isn't the CarPlay software on your iPhone? So once your iPhone software gets updated to iOS 26, the latest version of CarPlay should appear and be active in your vehicle. At least, that is what I've always experienced with previous updates to CarPlay.

Have had CarPlay since 14Nov2024 (‘25 Z71 day of delivery) was referring to the new CarPlay in IOS26 & Car Keys as both *may* roll out in Sept …….. if AAPL intro’s it then as they *claim*.

Yeah, again I would expect that the newest version of CarPlay will be available in your vehicle as soon as (1) Apple releases iOS 26 and (2) you install it on your iPhone. And I am pretty confident that Apple will release iOS 26 when they said they will, given that timing is usually aligned with their new iPhone launch.

Now, as for the Apple Wallet car key support, not sure. I see what you mentioned, that Apple has announced that a number of new vehicle brands will be gaining car key support, including Chevy/GMC/Caddy. Looks like it’s unclear as to when and which models.
