A prelude to the Tahoe

I didn't get a Denali, wasn't feeling the AWD and last week I picked up this 05 Escalade 2wd with a 5.3 and 32k on the clock for a lil over $17K cash. These are a couple of pics from the dealer website of the actual truck
It will be lowered tomorrow and fitted with 24" Giovanna wheels as the modding begins..............Oh and actual pics to come LMAO

I didn't know either, That's why I was never interested in them til I read it said "2wd". I was like WTF!! typo? I called and to my ******* surprise it was 2wd. I was all over it. I am definitely gonna go with boost, and probably with Magnacharger this time. I have the funds, just need to figure out a way to get it installed and tuned at about the same time..

Nice dude. I didn't know you could get a 5.3 in an escalade. I thought the 6.0 is part of the reason you buy an escalade!

Looks great, can't wait to see it dropped. I think you should go 3/5 though, you know you will sooner or later!

Is this a special custom order Escalade? Is it Platinum edition for the Gold Badges?

I am just confused to how it is a 2WD 5.3 Escalade.....

When I went to buy my Tahoe I looked at Escalades too (About 100-150) [25 in person and over 100 online] and everyone of them was 4WD with a 6.0....

Could you give me some more info about it like edition, etc?

Also just out of curiosity, Does it have e-fans and Factory Navi? (These are standard in 05-06, but since the rest is different I was jw about these 2 aspects)

Liek they said I say you just go 3/5, or atleast 2/4, because a 2/3 may not cut it unless you have 26s.
Could have sworn your old Tahoe had a 3/5?

Ask for a copy of someone's 5.3 blown tune....then see where you are with that and cable tune it later for more precision

I don't know about special order but it does have efans, no nav (yet) and it is a Platinum edition..
