The outter driver side door handle broke on my 95 Yukon. I had this happen on my 95 Suburban and the replacement was junk! Where can I get a good handle?

Unfortunately, because of the age of the vehicle, finding a Genuine GM, would be a used salvage yard option or a NOS that you could find. ebay will likely be a source for used too but new will be less quality. Try your hardest to not get in the habit of the "hard yank" when opening. It is just human nature to yank on it but do your best to open easily in the future.

I would try lmctruck.com . It shows the exterior handles come in either smooth or textured.

I got NOS OEMs from eBay for my '95. You'll need patience and persistence. Or luck.

I'd recommend being judicious with your handle tugging/yanking if you live someplace that has winter.

Wise advise, I already found that out with another truck! This happened when it was 45 degrees! This truck is very tight and knowing this, I gave it a manly yank to open the door and....

I've noticed that doors freeze closed much easier since GM eliminated the rain gutter and the roof over-hanging the door. That rubber door seal wrapping up and across, being exposed on the roof, is a problem.

Spray silicone applied with a rag to the weather seal and the inside mating surface of the door tends to help keep it from freezing.

There is a GM silicone ointment that is recommended to use on the rubber door seals, hatch seals and the sun roof seal. The spray silicone on the rag, does the same thing.

I always assumed the GM stuff was just to keep the rubber soft.
