95 tahoe idle problem

i have a 5.7 95 2dr took to shop had the timing set sence then it runs good but it whants to stall when you come to a stop plus it has a mis in it now please give me some help

i think they used a scan tool i don't have access to a scanner

Are you saying they used a scanner to set timing. if so that is not how it is done.

it wants to stall at stop signs how do you time this thing it is an 95 but can't use the obd11 on it

There is a plug behind the glove box to unplug, then you set it to 0 with a std timing light.

what kind of plug am i looking for? is it for the computer?
