4x4 decal or z71?

So I don't care that mine isn't a true z71. It's a salvage title with a new engine. But I have some ideas for the Tahoe this weekend and wanna know which decal to go with when I order? Am I a poser if I get z71? Because I would call someone with a 4x4 sticker on their 2wd Tahoe a poser.

My wife's H3 is a Hybrid. It goes both on road AND offroad. Try to explain that to a Prius owner!

not much difference between z71 obs trucks an hoes i believe its just skid plates 3.73 an bilstien shocks at least thats the only diff i can tell 2000 obs tahoe is dif tho

Tail light guards and color matched bumpers I believe were the other differences.

I vote for no sticker as well. Take if off road or to the beach in loose sand or wait for ice and snow. Once you go where others can't, they'll know you're in a 4x4. I like not having to advertise it. It's kinda stealthy.

2000 Z71's had different flares and wheels as well as the bumpers, bruchguard, tail light guards and leather interior with Z71 emblems.

No stickers, but...

My Yukon is a bonafide Z71...I checked the RPO codes in the glovebox and there it is. On the pillar behind my front doors, I took off the "SLE" emblem and replaced it with a "Z71" emblem from what I think are the NNBS Tahoes. It's not any bigger than the "SLE" emblem, but for me it's just enough. Plus it adds just a splash of color (red) to my other wise white and black Yukon.

SunlitComet helped enlighten me on the Z71 package: Two tone interior, fender flares, shocks, skid plates, tail lights guards, pretty sure 265/75R16 tires were standard along with the cutter wheels, Z71 badges and 3.73 gears with a locker. As for the stickers. Id keep it clean with none.

Jack up the rear and put it in neutral. Spin one tire if the other spins the same direction than you have the limited slip, if it spins other direction then yer open. Or spin one tire and try to hold the other. If you can hold one then yer open if you cant hold it you have the limited slip.
