Have a 1999 2dr with 102,000 miles. Has anyone ever installed a 4L65e in a 1999, and if yes, how involved is the changeover?

a 65e is just a beefed up version of the 4L60e. Same external size, etc.

Roger on the same size---Will the existing wiring harness be adaquate?

yes sir. the difference is the 65e has five-pinion planetaries, along with a strength-improved output shaft. Outside, the same.
