Hello I am new here, and I’m not an expert but here’s my honest experience. I have a 2018 GMC Yukon. The dealer techs here, let’s just say my truck comes out worse. Too many stories to tell, dealers are not always the best. Heck even Walmart, did a better oil change than the dealers. My advice, is do what you feel comfortable doing. Dealers usually warranty work, but so do shops so, just whatever you feel comfortable with. The price is always cheaper small shops, dealer are called stealer ships for a reason.

I think at 33 I can still call myself a young gun?! lol but I’m with you…. Full size trucks need V8s! lol put the turbo 4bangers in the Colorado/canyon, and the compact crossover SUV. Lol keep the half ton trucks and big SUVs with a V8!
Yep, at 33 you are a young gun but your parents raised you right!
Full size trucks need V8 engines and there’s no replacement for displacement - this is one of those universal truths!
