Damn here we go again. Drove to school this mornin, got to school and now i have the same problem. Wtf

put a napa relay in my lows and same porblem so now what???????!!!!!!!!!

the low relay was a little warm bot not hot

maybe try putting one of the 6a on the low wire to keep it from backfeeding back into the BCM?????

Switched the 3amp diode that keeps power from entering the truck out for the 6 and it works fine again

i need to know what year you have and am also wondering why there is a diode on the "body control" line, what color is that line, what made yo put it on and do you have automatic headlights?

How to wire up the 4-HI mod.
My truck is a 2000 classic. 98 body style. And i put the diode on the green wire that feeds the low beam to keep power from backtracking back into the truck. (May not be needed, but i have a buddy that said itll mess the body control module up, but im 90% sure my trucks headlights don't run through a bcm

yeah get rid of the that diode. so you have a 2000 tahoe limited then? the 2000 classic 98 body style description is confusing. describe it as you were ordering parts from a part store desk please instead.

1998 truck? same wiring really no biggie just getting tied up in the whole body control of headlight thing. if no auto headlight then body controller and headlight control module are not in play here.

so when you have head switch off and parking brake released you have low beams?
when you turn switch on you again have low beams but marker lights as well correct? and they stay on forever with out issue?
when you go to high all beams are on and marker light as well but sometimes the lows flake out while everything as is on? do they randomly come back on or just die until you do something.

High and low work fine alone

With the key on I have daytime running lights, when I flip the main switch to turn on the headlights I have low beams and marker lights, but when I go to turn off the main switch I lose my daytime running lights. With four high conversion wired in, I go to highbeam and when I flip back to low beam I'll lose my low beams, and they will not come back on until I turn my daytime running lights off as well as my headlights
