2003 2500 6.0
Anyone try 305/70-16 at stock height? Maybe turn the bars up a bit?
Wheels are vintage Alcoa 5 spoke
Wheels and tires were on my '94, but want to know if there is more or less room in the '03

Should fit fine, with nothing more than a T-bar crank. You might have to trim the inner fender liner a bit, depending on your wheel offset. 285/75/16's on stock wheels don't rub, I had just a slight rub at full lock while backing up, but my 16x8 wheels have 1 1/4" less backspacing than stock.

slight trim on drivers side inner panel, 5 turns on the bars.
looks great, drives decent.
starting the front end rebuild next week, 165k on the truck.
going to do all 4 new a arms, 4 tie rods and idler and pitman arms.
then alignment
It is a former government truck, all black trim except chrome grill and bumpers, but windows locks and rear air, painted dark grey
