Hey guys I'm installing 2.5in keys and 1.5in rear spacers on my 05 Tahoe LS 4x4 I'm also wanting to order wheels and tires. The wheels I'm thinking about are 20x9 with 0 offset, my question is can I run 305 50 20 Terra grapplers? Supposed to be 32in tall so I assume they will work, any thoughts?

Ok cool. Do you think that size is a good choice? They also make a 295 55 20 which is a hair narrower and a bit taller idk I'm kind of leaning towards the 305s because there a little cheaper

There is also 275/60-20(33x11)
20x9 0 offset with 275/60 Falken AT3w. Just front level. Stock rear. Got my tires at just under $700 for the set. Wish I would have went 295/55 or 33x12.5 now though. I have more than enough room as it sits.

Looks nice, do you like the 0 offset wheels? Your bottom pic looks like you have fender flares but the top one doesn't. I just bought my hoe and it has flares but it's missing the pieces that go on the rear doors looks kinda weird thinking about removing them all together hoping the paint isn't messed up under them

It has flares. 0 offset on a x9" wheel is just at flush with flares.

This is coming from the previous 18x10's -24 offset, with a 32" tire.

All the same suspension heights.

Do you think the tires would stick out too far without the fender flares? As u can see I'm missing part of mine and don't know if I can buy just the pieces I need.

Well the shop installed the keys and 1.5in coil spacers and he said even with the keys adjusted all the way down it was like 1.5in low in the rear so I guess I'll roll with cranked stock keys until I can figure something out. I can't believe it was that much off it all came as a kit Bilsteins and all, would Z71 springs even be enough? Mayb my coils are wore out?? I'll see what it look like tomorrow with cranked stock keys but pretty disappointed honestly.

That's odd for sure but yes get z71 springs. I think the lift keys might have been turned up some if they were those adjustable two piece ones

Z71 springs will net you another 3/4" or so, depending on how much your current springs have sagged. My Yukon XL has Z71's in the back with 2" spacers, and keys in the front (cranked to about 3"). Fender heights with 285/75/16's (32.8") are 39 3/4" front, 40 1/4" rear.

I'm going to run some 20x8.5 Sierra wheels on it when the General Grabbers wear out, looking at 275/65/20's (34.1"), they will clear without any more lift. If my back/arthritis/diabetes issues get resolved, I will gain more mobility, and be able to throw a body lift on and clear 35's (or 295/65/20's, or 325/60/20's). I'm just tall enough that I can push up on the running board and get my ass on the seat, and slide in, but I'm too tall/big to step up onto the steps and then duck down into the seat.

I've found a set of 305 55 20 nitto Terra grapplers with 50% tread for $300 I'm thinking about buying them but afraid they will rub

With a level kit, they shouldn't rub. I had 285/75/16's (32.8") on mine with nothing more than a stock key crank, and they didn't rub at all, and that was with 16x8 wheels that stuck out 1 1/4" more than stock. I could have easily gone with 305/70/16's (same height, almost an inch wider) and still had clearance.

If they do rub, you can always do a little trimming. Trim off the bottom of the rear of the fender (mini NorCal mod, check it out on YouTube), and trim the lower plastic valance under the bumper.

Look hard at his door, flares are there, you can see the shadow on bottom corner of his door.... other part is just hidden by camera angle...
Goto www.uneedapart.com it searches junkyards all over to find the part you need. Or just look at your local yard for the flares....

Well I bought the 305 55 20s got a set Z71 springs coming as well. The rims I want come in 0 offset and +18 was planning on 0 offset is that the right choice?

18 will sit inside fender about 1/4" more than 0 offset will.

20x9 0 offset with 305/55 on my old hoe. Was an auto ride deleted with rc level kit. 3/4" spacer in rear with stock Auto ride springs. Lots of trimming, still rubbed the washer tank and on certain driveways they rubbed the cab.

Looks sweet. How's the ride quality? I wonder if the 0 offset will rub worse than the +18. How positive can u go with offset before you start rubbing the inside ? 305 tires are pretty wide. I'm ordering wheels tonight so I need to make up my mind

Got a set of these ordered with Z71 springs and also 2 in coil spacers in case the 1.5in ones on there now aren't enough. Hope these wheels will look decent
