Can someone please share pics or a "how to" on this? I don't understand how a 2x4 smashed between the tire and fender liner isn't causing damage somehow.

I'd like to see pics of where you place the 2x4. Also, how big of a 2x4? Can give me a quick tutorial? I'm entertaining 24's.

what the heck never heard of anything like that, why would you have issues with 24''s unless you are running big tires?

cut the plastic liners inside of your fenderwell. If that doesn't fix it, check the offset of your wheels. You may have too low of an offset.

the whole point of doing the 2x4 trick is to avoid cutting. from what i read, almost everyone with 24s and 2/3 rub a little in the front and rear running very common offsets et30

i was not lowerd but i did run 26'' wheels at one time, and it was a little rub just on the inner fender. im lookin at going 4/6 on my 24s i see people run it with no major issue. if it hit the inner fender im planing on cutting out where it may rub and doing fiber glass to give clearance
this is a car that came in to the shop i use to work at, this is the only thing i could imagen
it had hydros so evething to mount up shocks and springs was welded

you use a 2x4 to massage the metal behind the rim/tire towards the firewall. I know there are some pics somewhere... I'll try to find them
