Looking to replace the tires on our 16 Yukon XL. We live on a dirt road on top of a mountain (Ozarks not Rockies) and the 2 miles to pavement wore out the factory junk pretty quick. We also tow occasionally so we replaced them with Toyo AT 2s but after 30k or so they are wearing out. Looking to replace them with Bfg KO2s but I'm thinking about going with the 265 55 E's instead of the 275 55 D's. My hope is the 10 ply will hold up better. Not worried about a rougher ride or road noise My LBZ has Toyo MTs so anything will be smoother and not as loud. My worry is the 265s are 1/2" taller and slightly narrower than the 275s. Anyone know if they will rub on a stock height yukon xl with stock wheels? Just want something that will last on the dirt and will do well in the winter.
Thanks for any help you guys can give.
