I just picked up a set of the new style Platinum wheels and I'm having a hard time trying to find a good tire within my budget. I was looking at a set of Nitto 420S and I love the look of the tire... it looks sporty and fast though I'm wondering if it will actually look good with a luxury style wheel on it. Is anybody running Nitto 420S with an Escalade wheel out there? I'd like to see some pictures or have a couple other recommendations before I drop a big chunk of change on new rubber!

No clue on the tires, but I was thinking about if they had the new platinum reps. Where'd you get them?

I'm running the Nitto 420s on my Yukon, but on my stock 20's. I wanted to go with a new set of CK375's with the Nitto's in 22" but just couldn't justify it with my budget at the moment.

As to your question on the tires; they look great and ride really, really well. My only regret is not going with a 285/50 vs the stock 275/55... It looks a little bit too tall without enough meat width wise with the current wheel... Very good tire for the price though, at least so far...

I did some digging around and read some rather favorable reviews and saw some sweet pictures of these tires on various Chevy trucks so I think I'll be going with them. The Yukon looks great with those factory wheels but 22's would really set it off ;)

Thank you, and yes it would look much better with some 22's, but I had just invested in a retrofit build for new headlights and fog lights, so I wasn't ready to buy both tires and new wheels. I was originally wanting to hold off until summer for new rubber, but just about got sideways on the old tires (at ware bars) a couple weeks ago while on the freeway in a heavy rain. So that changed my time table for buying tires since my wife was driving my rig to the coast with our daughter a week later. I just couldn't in good conscious let her drive it on the old tires since she had only driven my truck one other time prior.

I'm hoping by late May or June to finally order new suspension and give it a good 2/4 or 3/5 drop. That will at least help with the look with the 20's in the short term.
