2026 chevy/GMC Interior Camera

Anyone have any Intel on the Interior Camera software update that will activate the interior camera?? We recently had a software update push but doesn't look like the Cam was included. I currently use all the Cams on the 2026 (Front, Back, sides) as a dash cam. I plugged in a 1 gig thumb drive into the infotainment port and have hours of video if needed, and figured the interior camera could be included when available.

Newer Cadillacs allow it to be activated from the display screen. It acts as an internal passenger view camera (good for keeping an eye on kids in the back seats). Not sure if that will be passed on to all vehicles

Just stumbled upon a car reviewer Looking at a 2026 high country that had the interior camera option.

Looks like it’s already being instituted on new vehicles so I have to assume it’ll be available via an update soon.
