I always had mixed feelings about these wheels. They do look sharp when cleaned and polished but they are too “blingy” for me. I thought The size 22” and low profile tires would not be the best ride but I was pleasantly surprised by how well they handle. The roads I drive are pretty smooth and here in Florida they maintain all the roads well and we don’t have the pot hole problems that some areas have. The 22” wheels handle turns well and eliminates the roll that sometimes happens in trucks with more side wall.
Think the combination of magnetic ride and air suspension makes the lower profile tires less likely to make for a hard/bumpy ride. The handling is more sports car than truck.
Anyway still too glitzy for me. My question is are those shiny chrome sections removable? I don’t want to screw anything up but if I could get rid of those shiny chrome pieces I would be much happier. If they made those shiny chrome sections a satin bronze, like the grill, I think that would be awesome and look a lot better.
Any recommendations besides just swapping out these wheels?
