2022 Denali lifters just went

6000 miles, service traction control and service ESC messages came on. Started running rough and shaking then died in the middle of my street. This truck was built in November 21, way after the "fix" came out. It's at the dealer now. We'll see what they say.

Ouch! Mine was built in February. Hoping it does not run the same course... Let us know what they say.

That's what I had feared since I ordered the 6.2L as well but in a Tahoe.

Dealer confirmed a lifter and maybe a push rod broke. They told me they were doing both sides but I will believe it when I see it.

That's cool but what's the point if they are going to replace with the same parts?

Yeah I know. One thing I noticed is that I had a sharp decrease in gas mileage just prior to the failure. On a highway trip I was topping out at 12 mpg

Holy Crap! I just passed 3000 miles with my 2022 Denali. I will be paying close attention to it.

The dealer has had it 2 weeks with no update on timing. Just parts on backorder.

Saga has come to an end. After 3 weeks my truck is fixed and running fine. They replaced both banks of lifters, which I assume means both heads. I drove home and got 20.5 mpg, it has never run that good before. I was getting 12 before max. That is a good warning sign I think your lifters are going, sharp decrease in MPG. Just my experience.
