I recently purchased a 2021 Chevy Tahoe RST. I noticed a few spots where a radar detector and sticker had been removed leaving some of the adhesive backing still on the the glass. I used regular Windex and a paper towel thinking that would take most of it off but instead it smeared it over a larger area and left a few scratches. I then took a window scraper with a regular razor blade and started to scrape off the residue but this clear film started to come off the glass peeling up and flaking off the blade. Has anybody ever seen this happen? What is this stuff? What do I do next? Any advise would be much appreciated.
