Long story short, after several emails back and forth with Rotofab and the owner Mike, we were able to get together to test fit an altered version of their T1 19-22 truck intake on my 2021 Yukon XL Denali 6.2L. The test fit was quite uneventful and the fit and finish is very nice, and after fuel trims settled in the felt power is much better. How much better, I couldn’t tell you as no dyno testing was not done. So, if you’re looking at Rotofab give them a call as Mike told me they should have a specific kit ready in a very short time.

They make a nice product. I had one on my 2010 Camaro SS.

Just checked the Rotor Fab website because this is one I would actually buy... then my eyeballs were gouged out by the price. It would be better if you had the option of a custom painted box and a carbon fiber or stainless intake tube like I had on my Camaro.

Absent a tune it is hard to imagine this will make any difference seat of pants.

Nice. I must say I miss that car now that my kids are older lol. Went back to the site and inly found these pics from my profile. I know i have pics of the ride somewhere.

I did so much to that car: ported tb, cai flowmaster AT and was planning headers.

For those that put this on their 6.2, how does it sound?

Any long term thoughts?

Answering my own question - can hardly tell a difference sound wise. Didn’t get a ton of miles in though so I’ll follow up if it drones or I notice a sound Change.

I see GM parts has a CAI kit for the 6.2 assume it is for the upgraded power rating of the cop Tahoe. It indicates it does not fit the Z-71 with the 6.2. I will try to see if it will fit and if not go with a Roto Fab.

I don’t think they’re selling the OEM one any more?
Dont expect that or the Rotofab to sound much different. They don’t have the intake resonator but they reuse the OEM intake duct.

With the CAT back exhaust and RotoFab intake, combined does anyone have actual HP/TQ. gain?
