Thanks again. I'll check into it on Summit (was just looking via the K&N site).I got it from Summit Racing. Maybe the number changed. It is basically a replacement K&N filter and the tube and a breather line to replace the large airbox on the throttle body. I didn't order a "cold air kit" because the factory air cleaner already picks up its air from in front of the radiator and I couldn't see how a whole kit would be any better.

Just received the set up, and was going to install it yesterday... but I haven't gotten my 2nd engine-recall letter yet, and thought maybe I shouldn't install it until my truck has gone in for the engine test. Sound logic? This is my air intake set up. You can see the stock fresh air pick up above and in front of radiator. I am not sure if anything can improve it.
Got the K&N setup installed on my truck this weekend. I can’t say whether it added any HP, but the throttle response feels better, and everything (acceleration, shifting, etc) just feels smoother and less encumbered. It just feels like the truck breathes better now, which I imagine it does. This is my air intake set up. You can see the stock fresh air pick up above and in front of radiator.
