Morning folks. I got my 2019 tahoe with jet black interior. I was cleaning it the other day and noticed some pieces are more of a brownish color than black. Is this a normal color variance or maybe factory installed the wrong pieces?

I've attached some pics for reference, my phone seems to change the color temp a bit but hopefully it's easy to spot. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I got this vehicle brand new 3 miles on the odometer back in July 2019. Not sure why I am just now noticing it.

I do use detailing products on it (adams polishing) and was thinking maybe it dyed the dashboard but then I started to inspect the other areas and noticed they were a dark brown but not all area's just some.

Guess it's too late to bring it back to dealer now.

I scoured youtube last night and found maybe 1 or 2 videos with a similar issue. All others seemed fine.

I then took to gmparts website to write down the panel part pieces #'s and today after work will check the part #'s of my pieces. I saw 2019 tahoe has a brown interior option but it seems more reddish brown.

I think you're right Bob maybe at the factory they mixed the reddish brown panel colors for those tahoes and didn't clean the color mixing machine enough when making the jet black color.

Doesn't bother me too much tho...just something I caught and wanted to post about.

Attached is an example I found on youtube. You can see the door panel is a tint of brown verses rest of drivers interior.

Maybe it’ll increase the value like those rare hard to find Hot Wheels factory blemishes?

Lol...hey you might be right. I consider my Tahoe a collectors item with rare
mis-matching interior now.

I have detailed many K2 platform SUVs for customers. None have ever had black mixed with brown like that in the paneling. Lol. I have a client with a 2016 Denali with the chocolate colored brown interior and it’s all matching. A client with a 2020 Texas edition suburban, with jet black interior, and it’s all matching black panels- doors, dahs panels, center console, dash, all black. Weird that yours has mis Mather panels.
