So of course my 2019 has wired USB Carplay and I wanted wireless. I tried several wireless dongles and they either had lag or periodically failed to connect. I moved the poor performers to my wife's 2024 Hyundai Palisade, my daughter's 2013 jeep with aftermarket Stinger radio, and my friend's 2012?Toyota 4 Runner with some unknown aftermarket radio and they ALL WORKED PERFECTLY. So it was poor performance of the GM hw/sw. I finally found one that works pretty good. It has connected every time , minimum lag, and no other problems I have found.

I use an original AAWireless adapter which is also Carplay capable. (This is no longer available to buy new).

I let my phone rest on the charging pad and it automatically connects to the vehicle. Since I have unlimited data I use the Porsche's lifetime SXM app for my audio needs.

Seems to work well with the Premier's Bose system.
