my new 2017 shakes like this as well occasionally at traffic lights in Drive. I've watched the RPM and it stays constant, but definitely feels like its barely misfiring at times. Complete crap for a 60K + vehicle.

Did you notice if the rough idle stopped after the negative cable were changed?I had this issue on my 2017 Tahoe LT 2WD (purchased 12/16) and the dealer replaced the motor mounts with no change. My contact at the Arlington, TX, GM assembly plant found a service repair order that essentially diagnosed the issue as a bad negative battery cable but could also be bad ground connection. This was found by checking vehicle for DCTS and multiple communications DTCS were found set in the history (check bulletin PIT5405C). They replaced the negative battery cable and reset DTCS but I do not have any further info on how effective this was.
My experience is that good electrical grounds are critical to the proper functioning of the electronics in today's vehicles and bad grounds can lead to odd issues which are very difficult to diagnose correctly.
I no longer have that Tahoe since it was traded in on another 2017 LT but with 4WD. So far this one does not have the rough idle but it only has 700 miles on it.
The vehicle that was serviced was not mine. This was reported by my contact at the Arlington assembly plant. It may have been a vehicle from a customer and they have pulled the info from the service history. I have no further info but it worth investigating, especially checking for the DTCS history and/or letting the dealer know about the service bulletin.Did you notice if the rough idle stopped after the negative cable were changed?

Since a child, my family has always been a GM/Chevrolet loyalist. My first car was a Camaro led then by an Oldsmobile Alero, Cadillac CTS, Equinox, Impala, and now on my 2nd Chevrolet Tahoe. My parents, have had countless Silverado’s, and to this day own one, in addition to their Avalanche and Impala. There has never been any vehicle registered to us outside the GM family…I had a 2015 Tahoe that was doing this exact same thing, it was so bad the dealership bought it back. I then purchased a 2016 Tahoe that is having the rough idle issue!! GM said replace the motor mounts, I'm 1,100 miles out of warranty so I have to pay out of my pocket for the motor mounts. Is this a sure fix? The dealership says probably not. I have been going back and forth with GM about this and they refuse to be of any assistance to me. Possible Lemon Law case here, maybe even class action lawsuit. GM is aware of this issue and can't get their acts together to fix the problem.
Bad link. This explains how they "should" be able to fix the rough idle....

Has anyone had success with this without much pushback from the dealer?Tsb 17-NA-166. Had mine done. 95% better
Some customers may comment about a rough idle and/or vibration at idle in Drive.
This condition may be most noticeable following extended driving, after hard acceleration, while idling at a stop in Drive.
May feel like a lopey or lumpy idle, or may be described as a low idle.
This condition will not be present in Park or Neutral. (There have been a few cases for rough idle in Reverse.)
Note: There will not be any DTCs with this concern.
If the rough idle / vibration concern frequency is E1.5 in the horizontal / lateral direction with Pico sensor mounted in seat track as indicated below – continue with steps to install updated design engine mounts and settle both engine and trans mounts to reduce amplitude (mg) / eliminate ground out within the engine mounts for vehicles built prior to engine mount breakpoint. For vehicles built after breakpoint, follow Shimming Procedure for Engine Mount Vibration/Grounding after Mount Replacement.
SO THE DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO EITHER PUT SHIMS OR REPLACE THE ENGINE MOUNTS
