I have a feeling there is much more differences than you think. drive to a dealer and park beside a Yukon, Tahoe, Escalade, ect. and you will quickly see the differences.

There are aftermarket ones for sale on eBay that fit the 2012 and are made to mimic the current Escalade, they run close to $500, just do a search on eBay, I put them on my 2012 about a year ago the fit is tight but they have held up well so far
