Anyone know if my Yukon has a cabin filter & where it is if it does. I can't find anything about one in the owners manual Thanks in advance..

I believe that cabin filters existed in the 2000-2006 models. I believe that they were eliminated in the 2007-2014 models. There is, however, a conversion kit that you can purchase at Rock Auto, and install a cabin filter in your truck. The conversion process is not difficult, as I did it myself.

Interesting that they got rid of it, considering how service loves to sell a good cabin air filter.

@Tonyrodz is correct. A handful of 2003 rigs came with them. But for the most part they were stopped with the 2002 model year. The space in the HVAC system is there for the filter, same as the 2007-2014 models. But you have to cut a hole in the bottom of the HVAC for it. And then add the filters. That’s what I did to my 2006.

Thought I’d do my Dad a favor while out in California and change his 06 Sierra filter in 5 minutes. I’m an idiot for not taking the time to see I needed the kit.
