1st post so go easy on me! I have a 2013 Z71 Tahoe currently running stock wheels with 285/60/18 Nitto Terragappler G2's (been a great tire with over 70k on them). its time to replace tires and rims due to the MN winters destroying the finish on the stock rims. what options do i have without lift or to much trimming? i see a lot of 2020-2021 takeoffs with 275/60/20 tires on them for a good price... can anyone provide pictures of this and show how much trimming they had to do? otherwise i was thinking of the same 2020-2021 vintage factory 18" wheels with a 275/65/18 on them. Cost is a factor and the 275/60/20 packages are cheaper and more available near me, but i dont want to do more trimming if i dont need to. Any thoughts or pictures are appreciated.

As long as you buy rims with a 31mm offset (which should be your stock rim offset), you should not need to do any trimming. When I bought my new-to-me 07, it had 275/60x20 tires on it. I replaced them with 305/50x20 tires with no rubbing.

A lot of the newer wheels (K2s and T1s) have a 25mm offset, or less.
I am running 275/55/20 with no rub....rims are Silverado take-offs
