it's amazing that, at this price level, the GUI is so difficult,
the keyboard to input data or names for address book entries is in alphabetical order, and it's hard to spell stuff quickly.

is there a way to change the keyboard oreintation?

Nope. 9 out of 10 Factory nav's are that way. I know... Its insanely difficult. Use your Smartphone instead!

I don't get anywhere with the voice recognition.
i think you need to print the "canned" list of words that you use to start the string, and tape them on the back of the sun visor.

my cell phone works great for voice Navi (droid)

but that's just crazy: $50k for a Navi that is too hard to use, or a free cell phone that is awesome.

we usually have the wife look it up on her phone, and download it via the OnStar app to the Navi system.
