Hello all.

I recently did some work to the front end of my 2012 Yukon SLT. I replaced the shock/strut and upper control arms on both sides. Took it to the dealer today for a re-alignment and was told the cam bolts are installed incorrectly so they could not complete the alignment. The service slip says "All 4 upper control arm cam bolts on opposite sides and upside down, not allowing for alignment to be adjusted".

I used new cam bolts and plates. The camber plates are AC Delco PN 45K5012.

I am not clear on what is incorrect. I asked the dealer if they were backwards front-to-back or left-to-right, and the response was "yes".

Can anyone review my photos and advise on how to correct?

Thanks!
Kevin

@12YukonSLT Everything looks correct to me, the heads of the bolts live on the inside and the long part of the cam is supposed to pointing upward.

Just like this one from a random picture I found online

Thanks! I thought so. I was pretty certain I put it back together as I found it, and it matches images & Youtube vids I can find as well.
