We have had tons of issues over the years with our 2011 Yukon denali HVAC control module. Gm and Ac delco have discontinued new modules for the car. All the recent aftermarket mainly Dorman refurbished units do not correctly function for one reason or another. GM has also tried to reflash the program on these units with no luck. This is a great car but is pretty much useless in south Texas during the summer. I was curious if anyone has swapped the auto dual climate units for the knob type? The problem I always have is the unit thinks the evap is freezing so it will not engage the compressor clutch. The HVAC system worked flawless before this module went out and all the refrigerant levels are correct. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a reputable reman besides the Dorman?

I am having a hard time finding the thread, but z71mike I think his screen name is did it. he replaced the auto hvac with a manual one. shows the pin outs and all.

on. another note. if your temp sensor is reading wrong, this thread might help.
