2009 5.3/6l80 swap to 2011 L94 6.2/6l80

I have a 2009 avalanche (dod/non-vvt) with a 6l80 that I will be looking to swap in a 2011 L94 and 6l80 trans.
I know the TCM will not talk with my current 09 ECM but can I use the computer from the 2011 and reprogram it to my vin? I will be doing a cam swap removing dod and vvt from the 6.2 but I want to ensure I won’t have issues with the trans. Current driveline has 221k miles and the 2011 has 110k thus the reason to also swap the trans also.

You should have no issues using the '11 ecm & tcm.
Besides just changing the VIN, that'd be a GREAT time for an ecm & tcm tune.
Don't know if the Body Control Module, or some other module, will need to be updated to 2011.
