Who has a locking front diff? What brand is it? And how do you like it?
The T1s with the ATX or ZR2 packages have front lockers. 99.9% of the time they are not necessary. Our factory front differentials are not sturdy enough according to GM to use them in those cases. However, I think Chrysler/Dodge/Ram used them in the 9.25" front differential which GM also uses and those too are made by AAM.

OK, thanks for that info. I have a piece of property in the mountains, and the "road" to the top is super steep. I have taken my Jeep to the top in low with everything locked up, but I haven't tried taking my Suburban yet. I've got a G80 in the back and 4wd, but I wonder if that will be enough.
