Dealer says the problem is the U-Joints. Definitely cheaper than a Torque Converter!

Its worth a shot. I have inspected mine twice and they still seem very tight ....Let us know!
Any news on the U joints? The weather is getting hot here and my problems seem to be more noticeable with the higher temps and AC on. On a different note I came across this post this weekend.

The U joints seem to have fixed the shimmer. The dealer recommended a fuel induction service but I opted out out. They said that's why it runs rough when the A/C is on.
I have notice when cleaning the throttle body it does run better for about a day. I'm thinking of buying an air intake system cleaning tool and running that through to see if it resolves the rough idle or not.
Other than that the wife's Yukon is running great.
