2007 Tahoe Z71 - Auto Climate Control - No Front Blower

My 2007 Tahoe Z71 front blower is not working, it went out a few weeks ago I knocked on the housing a bit and it started back up. It is now completely out, can someone tell me how to determine if it is the resistor or the blower motor? I would like to replace myself as it seems to be the same set up as my 2005 Trailblazer and the blower motor replacement in that was very easy.

the blower motor runs on 12v, if you apply 12v directly to the motor it will either work or it wont

Odds are pretty good that its the motor since knocking on it made it work again briefly.

Also the resistors don't usually all go out at once so if you can't get the blower to work on ANY speed setting its most likely the blower.

Usually one resistor at a time goes out so the blower would still work on low or medium if the high resistor went out or vice versa.
