2007 Tahoe radio replacement

Hey all, I purchased a replacement radio for my 07 Tahoe. Is there a way to program it without a trip to the dealer ?

no there's not. It needs the correct VIN in it. Unless you know someone else with a Tech2

Return the radio and install an 8 track.

On YouTube, there's videos for nbs radios. There's a small chip that you take out and it'll work. Maybe there's one for the nnbs style radios. Beats going to the dealer.

Most likely a trip to the dealer is required. NNBS trucks kinda got techy. No more programming additional remotes in the driveway.
