The power seat won't move forward while the up/down and lumbar controls work fine.
I found the cause of the problem but I don't know how to fix it.
Took the seat out and found that the traveler (go back and forth on the long screw drives like a garage door opener) on the right side is not in sync with the one on the left.
I detached one traveler and set them even with each other but after 3-4 moves back and forth, the one on the right side would be about 1/2 to an inch behind. This is causing the seat slides to bind.
The same motor drives both sides and the rods going into the little gear boxes don't seem to be slipping.
Bonus repair - when I took the seat out, there was an electrical connector on the right side that was disconnected. Reattached it and this fixed my Service Airbag System warning.
