So here it is, I sold the SRT-10 because I could not stand being quite. 2007 Tahoe paid off in all her glory should be a nice base to work with. Alot are
preordered so this will not be an over night build and we are waiting on some new subs from JMH Concepts. Thanks to all the vendors who have helped out on the build so far!

Equipment that has already been paid for include the following

Headunit - Pioneer DEH-80PRS
Sub Amps - 2 x Sundown NS-1
Mids/Highs amps - 3 x Sundown SAX-125.4
Mids/Highs - 4 x Hybrid Audio Imagine I61-2 6.5" Component
Batteries - 2 x XS Power D2400 (Underhood) - 4 x XS Power D3100 (Back)
Alternators - 3 x DC Power 270 XP's
Subwoofers - Undecided
Deadening - Undecided

Here are a few pictures of the Tahoe

Well decided to tap around on the Tahoe to look for thin spots that might need some deadener, found a few places and still have a few more to get after I order some more deadener. Boy do they stuff alot of hidden crap in a Tahoe.

Temporary wiring until I get my Toolmaker parts.

So I have been doing a bit of small things for the build and started on the A Pillars today. Dropped the headliner which is a huge pain in a Tahoe and got a layer of Audio Technix .80 mil down. All wire connections are being soldered and heat shrink added. Before the deadener was applied all of the area was cleaned with an alcohol mist and wiped down until clean. Battery connections are temporary and will be redone when Toolmaker finishes up the 1/0 terminals

Got around to getting the Ipad installed in the Tahoe. All that is left is some finishing sanding and have it hydro dipped to match the rest of the wood trim. Also got the Epicenter in and just ordered a ARC PS8 for processing.

Very impressed with the work. I'll be interested to hear your impressions on the PS8. I sold my bit one and have been looking for a replacement processor. ARC is actually based in my town, but i haven't had time to go by and actually try the unit out. Also, on the Ipad, are you going digital in into the PS8 or analog in?

Analog for sure into the Aux on the Pioneer 80PRS then to the PS8. Sosche makes a charging cable to the set up and makes it real easy this way.

Gotcha. I pre-ordered the ipad mini to do an indash setup in my tahoe. I'm also going to be doing the analog, but am going ipad into an iStreamer then into the deck. Using the iStreamer improves the sound, as it bypasses the ipad internal DAC and uses the istreamer DAC instead. It also fully charges the device as well.

If i go with the PS8, I might also try using a Pure i-20 to send a digital signal straight into the digital input of the PS8 while charging the Ipad as well.

Yea I did the ipad more for the cool factor for car shows and all. I mostly use CD's still to this day for any real quality long term listening. Will use the Ipad for the kids that like the bass demos, lol.

Holy Crap........

Nice.

Got any Exterior modifications planned too?

Blazed should see this.:hands:

Yes Wheels will be 24's or 26's and more than likely billet something with a 2/3 drop all depending on how much the ass sags from the weight but it does have self levelers on it. Plan on putting calvue mirrors on and a new GHG-122 from Good Hood. That is the plan for now anyways.
