2007 Speaker Problem

Hello,
Have an 07 hoe with a non bose system. My left front speaker is out. Took it somewhere and they just said it was bad speaker. they hooked up another 6x9 and sounded fine. Any recommendations for replacement and does someone have door panel removal instructions? I cant seem to find them.

Another newbie here trying to help out. I also have an '07 tahoe with a non-bose stock system. On another thread about taking your door apart to replace the side mirrors, there was this link.

As far as what speakers to get, I couldn't tell you. I know that the front and rear doors have 6.5" round speakers though.

The stock speakers are absoulte trash. I ahve had mine repplaced before and they are screwed again at 24k miles only.
Get some Pioneer 6.5" speakers and you are good tog o. You will lose the little bass those stock ones hold so you may need a sub.

I like the infinity kappa series. I piut them in my daughter's car with no amp hooked to an alpine head unit. It's a full range speaker and the bass is great.
