2007 chevy tahoe LTZ seat motor

My seat stop going back and forward and up and down. I hear it trying to move but it goes nowhere. The back of the seat still moves back and forth but not the bottom half. Is this an easy fix or am I taking out a second mortgage to replace the whole seat.

if i'm not mistaken the motor is not serviceable, comes with bottom seat frame. unless they make it aftermarket, if not best bet is a wrecking yard.

Wish I had a junk yard here in Orlando that had Tahoes. They are hard to find anywhere.

Did you to see if there's anything jammed in the tracks? A dime wedged in good could stop it from moving.

Looks like I will be pulling the seat out to figure out whats going on. My projects are seeming to get longer and longer.

And it sucks to pull a seat when it won’t move so this won’t be easy either.
