I just replaced the oil pump in my Yukon and fired it up and oil pressure was good, after about the third time firing it up there was a high pitch squeal from the belt area. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen? I didn't have any noise prior to installing the oil pump, I also replaced belts.

Have you inspected the new belts to see if there is any kind of contamination on the belt surface?

If yes, you've found the source area of your issue. Is the belt the correct belt part number? If yes, replace the belt Tensioner assembly.
