2003 Denali Clunk noise decelerating between 2nd and 1st

When coming to a stop from over 20 mph or higher, I hear a clunking noise decelerating around 10 -12 mph. Happens mostly when I am braking and the car decelerates on its own. I had this problem for a long time and just got a new transmission. I thought the problem would be solved, but it still does it. Any ideas? It is driving me crazy. Thanks!
