My subwoofer was no good so I replace it so how do I tell if my speakers are playing through the factory amp because my sound not that great? Also how can I better my sound with all my factory stuff without taken any of it out can I add to it?

If your speakers are original, they are more than likely shot, you should replace the four door speakers.

There is an amp behind the glove box, you need to bypass it and either power your new speakers via your new head unit or an aftermarket amp (depends on which speakers you choose).

There is a lot of good information on this forum if you use the search function.

Did you match the impedance on the sub when you replaced it? If your old one was 2 ohms and the new one is 4 ohms it will be half as loud. Same when replacing door speakers. Is your system Bose or not? Bose are generally 2 ohm, non Bose can be 2 or 4 ohm.
