2002 won't accelerate

I bought a 2002 Tahoe last week. I drove from California to Las Vegas I got off the freeway and was at the light , the light turned green but my truck wouldn't move when I stepped on the gas the RPMs went up . I waited a few minutes and tried again this time it moved but real real slow after 10 seconds or so it did it again no acceleration and it continues to do it. What could it be spark plugs and wires were changed crankshaft sensor changed

is it red still? or pink? if its dark brown to black its toast.
