I can't wait to plasti dip it, like beyond excited.

I've wanted to dip a vehicle forever, but I keep selling all my trucks within months lol

Have the dyc kit?

Not yet, but I'm leaning towards the Advanced Dipsprayer one, with the 40' hose and improved turbine. $359 out the door, but if I like the plastidip as much as I expect to, I bet I'll have tons of friends and family coming to me wanting it done lol.

They just came out with this new splatter paint kit, and I'm really taking a liking to it..

only thing is with how dark my tint is, I'll be even more of a cop magnet than I already am

if not the rainbow, I'm torn between normal black:

and anthracite grey:

I really like the anthracite grey, but feel it might look too similar to the grey that I already have.

/shrug

gonna be a couple more weeks before we see 60 degree weather anyways

Just went through your thread. Audio stuff is crazy LOL

haha, it's not too bad

I can never make up my mind with what I want to do.... just bought 4 more 15s and some amps that might go in this Tahoe

Seen that splatter kit. Totally 90s style, all these kids bringing back our styles lol. Black with white and red splatter.

haha I just think it's amazing how much plasti-dip allows you to customize the car, like look at these "urban camo" styles

part of me says it looks like a cow, part of me thinks it's a super unique style

Those pics are kida old now. I have tweaked the pattern to look better I think. I will see if I can find a recent pic.

FYI: The exterior was done by cutting shapes out of large rolls of grey and black vinyl. The dash was wrapped in printed digital camo wrap.

It looks beautiful! <3

I was pretty sure it was a wrap since it looks so nice. Pretty expensive to do though right? Like $1200 in just materials?

For myself, I think I'm just gonna go with a solid color dip for the first time, but I might visit the cow skin later ;)

Actually no. About $200 in material and my labor is free. :)

whhhhaatttt? no way.

You've gotta have a connection or something. No way is a full vinyl wrap cheaper than plasti dip!

share your ways :)
I believe he just did some shapes on his white paint if I remember correctly. Not a wrap. Pretty ingenious.

Exactly. I ordered a roll of grey and black. Cut out random shapes and stuck them on. Used the white as the base.

Ohh I see. Your car was base color white from the factory, so you only had to do small areas of actual wrap.

Hmm. I didn't know that it would stick like that. I always assumed you had to like wrap into or around corners or hinges to get it to stick.

You learn something new everyday :)
