These jounce bumpers might as well have not been on lol. Cut down the new ones and swapped them out.

This was still jacked up after I put them in. I’ve never heard anything bottom out like metal to metal but they do sit awful close when it’s on the ground.

Noticed the bottom of the oil pan looked a little dirty like I had a small oil drip from somewhere. Nothing on the ground so hoping it was just residual from me missing something cleaning. Or the drain bolt washer at the very worst. We shall see. Looked dry everywhere besides there.

I haven't been through this whole thread but can tell you that the front jounce stops should contact the lower control arms at ride height. Contact is intentional and stabilizes the suspension somewhat.

They do now with the new ones at ride height. I was saying with the old ones I’m surprised I never heard any metal to metal with them before from being so deteriorated.

Surf city sound off is next weekend and I’m slacking!

Been getting an occasional code for the o2 sensors this past week. Them being like 8 years old and driving around 1k miles untuned probably didn’t help.

Got those swapped out, oil change done, fueled up and tuned my amps. All that’s left to be ready for the show really is an inside-out clean this week.

since it was tuned I have ran a couple tanks of fuel through it and averaging 14-15mpg still mixed highway/city driving. Not mad about that.

checked my catch can. The last engine would fill this every 500-1000 miles with frothy nasty watery oil. This was after 2k+ miles, it’s barely anything at the bottom, and just regular oil. :happy107:

Didn’t realize how yellow the eBay apc reps got until I pulled the og apc corners out and set it side by side. Got those back on and did a full inside out 4 hour detail after work this morning. Leaving for surf city 2025 tomorrow morning!!

Surf was pretty good until I sent a sub Sunday morning. Didn’t realize the music track I was using wasn’t long enough..so 55 seconds into a full volume run it changed, one of the subs said nope and destroyed itself. Filled the inside with smoke and turned the coil into a slinky. I’ll pull it this weekend to see the full damage though.

On a good note I got 1st in idbl and 2nd in bass boxing. Better than nothing. Also updated the front doors with the new DC Neo ss 6.5’s and coax 3’s. Sounds so much better and even louder now.

realized I should have thought before grabbing the DC enclosed trailer to help load up the booth Saturday evening. Luckily it wasn’t a far trip but I forgot I let all the air out of my helper bags at shows…that is until I hooked up to it.

We did get a team photo Sunday though
