Let the air out of the rear helper bags to about 5psi and it dropped the rear a 1/2 inch. Decided since I’m gonna be inside the wheel Wells now that I need to go a little lower. So 5” drop springs and front drop keys might be in the near future. This look is starting to grow on me. Which might have to if I end up waiting till July for the new wheels. Only time will tell. Well I guess wheel ***** Wednesday it is. Dude came to trade these kmc 22’s for my fuel 20x10s, walked up and spotted the declads that I have and said I want those. So the declads had a good run. A solid 2 days lol. Dude had a pretty Tahoe too!

So I really liked them as well. But I honestly wasn’t ever sold on how they looked on mine. They went to the right vehicle now. Guy sent me this picture. The declads look 10x better on his imo

Also these kmc will be for sale here soon. I just couldn’t pass on the trade. I don’t mind them on my Tahoe but I need more low for sure

I should explain on this a little more as well though.

The guy hit me up on the fuels. I originally planned on running the nitto nt420v tires once I got my wheels and doing to a 3/5 drop. I don’t mind the look of these kmc wheels but never would go out of my way to get them basically. They have about the same 70-75% tread as my terra grapplers on the 20x10’s. So the way I was originally looking at it was trade and he was gonna throw a little cash on top, then Once I get my new wheels swap the tires over and sell the kmc’s.

I really enjoyed those declads I just for some reason never enjoyed them as much as I thought I would once I put them on mine. I guess it made it a lot easier to see them go haha. So as soon as he walked in my garage and saw them, wanted to trade instead, it wasn’t hard for me to say no without attachment

P.s. These wheels show way too much of my unpainted brake calipers. Not a fan gonna have to paint stuff now [emoji23] 1/2” wheel spacers are also on the way.

Belltech 3921 keys came in yesterday. Got them put on today and dropped it down another about 3/4” still have plenty of room to adjust and now the front end is a little stiffer which I like. Also ordered some 1/2” wheel spacers but I’m going to return those because it only gave me a few threads on the studs. Not enough to seem safe. I’ll probably throw on some 1/4 in spacers though just gotta order them. Haven’t fully decided if I want to drop the back down more or not. Might wait until the new wheels come in before I do anything else. Except I will be ordering new upper control arms to fix the camber and get it realigned.

All day at work today I was thinking about the back and how I swore it should be able to sit lower. Then bam! It hit me and I remembered I hadn’t done the free travel mod yet because I didn’t need to when I had the air lift helper bags pumped up.

Once I got home I crawled under and looked, sure enough I find this

Well time to start cutting! The driver side is a real ***** I swear. And didn’t help that it was so close to the damn bags and gas tank. I was trying so hard to be careful but I messed up so I have to order a replacement bag now [emoji2359]

Next time if there is a next time with a different Tahoe I’ll make sure to do it when the springs are not in there haha.

But now it sits absolutely perfect I am stoked. I cannot wait till I can get the wheels I want on this but I will say these don’t look the worst just really isn’t my style I need some dish and offset

Last week was a busy one trying to prepare for the show in Wapato Wa at renegade raceway this last Sunday. Panhard bar came in along with the djm rear sway bar endlinks. I really need to clean underneath this thing

Didn’t grab a picture but I was definitely overdue for spark plugs as well. Threw new NGK Laser Iridium plugs in and a new set of black Taylor 10.4 wires. Red ones were looking old and ugly.

Was honestly getting kind of tired of the spec d led tails. They were just too much for me. I have always had my eye on these spyder candied/smoked oem style so I figured I’d give them a shot. Wish they were a little less smoked but overall like the way they look a lot more. And of course I had to mod the tails. Converted the turn signal and reverse sockets to 3157s.

only thing that bugs me is the 3157 red/white switchbacks I’m using will only light up white when no power is going to the red side. So if I have my foot on the brakes backing up they stay red. But I’ll save that for another time it doesn’t make a lot of difference since I have the pods.

DTP truckwars was Sunday. 4hr drive each way so my teammate and I split a hotel room up there. Managed to pick a good weekend they had a downtown cruise there Saturday night so that was a good time. Got to drive by cops on the strip there playing music full tilt with the windows down and only had people yelling turn it up more lol

last time I stayed here parking filled up fast so I parked like a dick until my teammate showed.

This is why I made sure we could park where we did. Slept with the balcony door open and we were up late chillin watching over stuff. I’m not paranoid you are! Lol

Almost forgot to post but I also saw this for fuel mileage on the trip! Best she has ever done.

It was about 90° Out but felt like 110. Managed to get my best score to date on the term lab at a 155.91 though. Took home 2 first place trophies and cleanest build award!

The bass boxing trophy and cleanest build trophy the owner of iasca made out of plexi with a led base plate which was definitely one of the coolest trophies I have gotten.

now that this is updated to today I actually got sick enough of looking at the factory orange indicators in the 4x4 and climate control so those are now blue.
