2000 tahoe limited obs only has 1st and 2nd gear. Help!

well my 00 hoe limited decided not to have any gears pass 2nd. Any ideas what it could be? She shifts fine in 1st and second and no slipping just wont go into 3rd and so on. Truck has 168k on it 4l60e trans 2wd

When my old obs Suburban did this, the trans was done...I suggest getting it rebuilt/new trans. Maybe someone will chime in with a different solution..

Just went threw this wih my brothers Sierra. It's probably the 3-4 shift solenoid. $20 part at oreillys. Drop the trans pan and it a simple swap.

The failure window for the 4L60e is between 140-160K. The electronics in the pan should be replaced at 100k. Always replace the in pan electronics when rebuilding your trans.
