Recently found a 1999 Yukon that was advertised as a Tahoe. Had some interesting "custom" mods that I have pics of to show. But drive line felt good and 4x4 works flawlessly. The headlights were sharpied behind to give the HID illusion blue. The Windshield wipers were pained dark green. The bow Tie is blue. The interior lights are red/blue/green. The rear brake drums are blue/red. The gauge cluster was sharpied blue and the needles are white with pink tips. They painted the dash surround brown and the a/c vents and the door handle trim rings. But the motor is strong body is 85% and $1800 is cheap for it. First thing I did was get newer factory rims. Then replaced the Heater control that wasn't working. Had Treadwrite 285/75R16 mounted today. New shocks will be in tomorrow. Going to put air shocks on the back. Waiting to order new headlights, Off-Road bumper, HID kit, and some other goodies. Need to take pics of under the hood a few things that are "custom" including bailing wire and bungee straps. Fist pics are from the day I got it a week ago.

Got the new shock on its 25 here in Arkansas and wet. So it was lots of fun laying out side on the ground. Air the back shocks up to 85psi. The previous owner ran the keys way up on the front I backed them off 4 turns the ride difference is night and day. Also got the new dash trim in and installed.

working on the big 3 today and installed a second battery in prep for future additions. When I pull the motor I will rerun all the battery wires. Had the wires laying around and they are over kill but they were free put new ends on them and use them.

This is there "Cold air intake" pulling it out asap. Need to replace the MAF connector but according to rock auto I should have a 3 pin. The one on the yukon is 5 pin so I have no idea which to order.

Fixed the maf plug today 250k miles and no check engine light :D. Also replaced the heater valve the old one was cracked. Going to drive it this week and check out it out to see if its good to go. Going to spend a few 100 in fun parts but befor I do want to make sure its good to go on the daily driver side of things

Well I was wrong about the maf being fixed lights back on took it out to clean it and its on backwards its also from a newer engine so for all i know it wont comunicate right with the ecm. They put a new style plug on it aswell. Ordered new mirrors, led bumper lights and offroad lights, a new 2400 watt amp for my 2 cvrs, a 750 watt and 2 sets of 6.5 componets. Wires relays. The all-4 mod harness. A fuse block. Some clevices and ruber boots for them. Should give me plenty to do the next few weeks. Selling my ski boat to help fund my build. Still have to dyno matt the hole thing, build a speaker box and glass it, put new floor covering down, replace some trip peaces, find a 60/40 get it apolsterd to match the tan leather back seat.
