I have one more question guys, about the whole tune-up change that i have told yall about that the truck was skipping beats on it and could possibly be that i need a tube-up, whats the best things to get to do the tune up? i have a K&N cold air intake and the maganaflow dual in and dual out. What i am pretty much going for is gaining more power and better performance. I am modifying the engine slowly. My next step will be putting catalytic converters and headers. But on the Tune-up up, Whats the best way to go with it? (Spark plugs, rotters, cables, fuel filter, etc)

Since you don't know the condition of the motor or it's associated components... I'd change out the following:
  • spark plugs
  • distributor cap and rotor
  • fuel filter

Visually inspect the plug wires - if they look good (no cuts, arcing, and the ends grip the plugs well), they probably are still good.

If you want to go through it all and KNOW what you've got check out the vortec firepower kit: http://www.performancedistributors.com/vortec.htm
