1997 Suburban Steering Issues

Just to help- on my EVO, when in a long sweeping turn left, my evo would activate and truck would move over a foot before I could catch it. Steering just a little off center. Right turns didn't happen as much.

I've tried 2 boxes from the junkyard and neither worked. I know it's not part of the EVO system but in looking at the schematic, they get their speed signal from the same source. That's why I started thinking the problems were possibly related (and because the timing of the failures seemed like a bit more than a mere coincidence).

I just checked all my lights and everything works (except for one license plate light which you've motivated me to fix!). Also, the functionality of the brake pedal switch was tested when I tested all the contacts on the cruise plug. It test results indicated the brake switch is good.
